Hi, I’m Nicole, the Rockingham and Surrounds Healthy Mummy Consultant.
I first found The Healthy Mummy when I was pregnant with my last child in August 2014. In November 2014, I weighed in at my heaviest at 82kg. I started my Healthy Mummy journey with the free recipes on the website. As soon as I lost 4kgs I joined up to the challenge at the end of January 2015 as a reward. I started the smoothies in march 2015 and have been using them since. I have now lost 23kgs by eating right and moving my body.
I have used the 28 Day Challenge, Recipe Books and Smoothies and think of myself as bit of a Healthy Mummy expert.
The recipes are amazing, family friendly and soooo good for you and BONUS I never get bored, and I don’t have to cut out of any food groups I eat chocolate, pasta, pizza and peanut butter! And no matter what I cook my kids eat it too!!
The smoothies are a godsend – delicious, quick, easy, so versatile and sooooo good for you! And not only am I no longer skipping breakfast I actually don’t want to miss out on these goodies.
Exercise wise – I don’t gym! The exercises I have done have been all around the house. I have used the post pregnancy DVD, 28 Day challenge exercises, tone up challenges and lots of incidental exercises (those squats are paying off 🙈🙊)
I have even improved my mentality – I now have self esteem and I enjoy frequent self care days to fill up my own cup! I even walk around the house now in undies!
This isn’t a diet, it’s a complete lifestyle change!
I have learnt to to be healthy, to love food, and to fall back in love myself.
